Ogbiablog.com.ng can authoritatively inform that only the Senator representing the good people of Bayelsa State East Senatorial District supported the emergence of Godswill Akpabio as the 10th Senate President among Senators from Bayelsa State .
This was revealed by a public document showing how the Senators voted, indicated that some Senators from Akpabio’s geopolitical zone voted against him by casting their ballots for Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara State.
A closer look at the social media photo showed that among the 3 senators from Bayelsa State, only Senator Benson Agadaga voted in support of Senator Godswill Akpabio while the other two voted for Abdul’Aziz Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara State.
Senator Chief Benson Agadaga is an illustrious son of Ogbia Kingdom. The former Chairman of Ogbia brotherhood was the Chief of Staff Government House Bayelsa State before emerging as the flag bearer for the Bayelsa East Senatorial District.
