The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard flag bearer for Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Chief Benson Sunday Agadaga has been overwhelmingly endorsed by the paramount rulers and council of chiefs of three Communities in Ogbia Local Government Area – Ologeghe, Otuaba-1, and Okiki communities respectively ahead of the elections coming up in February.
Chief Agadaga got endorsed at an elaborate and colorful event held separately at the three communities on Monday, 2nd January 2023 when he led a high-powered delegation to the Communities to inform and seek the support of the people over his Senatorial aspiration under the platform of PDP.
The PDP Bayelsa East Senatorial hopeful was accompanied by the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon. Federal Otokito, Governor’s Special Representative for Ogbia LGA, Hon. Prince Isiki, Former PDP Deputy Chairman, Chief Ani Amangala, immediate past Councilor for Ogbia Ward 9 among others.

High points of the occasion were when the three paramount rulers adorned Chief Agadaga with wrapper, presented a cutlass and lantern to him, and prayed for his victory at the polls.
The former Chief of Staff hails from Ologeghe paternally, Otuaba-1 maternally, and Okiki is his wife’s maternal community.
