Ogbia Youths under the auspices of Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council (OBYC) have congratulated Chief (Dr.) Samuel Ogbuku following his formal inauguration as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement, the National President of OBYC Comrade Johnny S. Jonathan described the Ogbia Kingdom as a peculiar kingdom that is specifically blessed with seasoned administrators at every particular point in time citing late Dr. Melford, Obiene Okilo ( first Civilian Governor of old Rivers State) and Dr. Goodluck, Ebele Jonathan GCON, GCFR (Former President of Nigeria) as examples.

The group assured Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku who is the Deputy paramount ruler of the Ayakoro Community of its support, mobilization, and encouragement, even as they wish him the best of luck to carry out its responsibilities upon the powers vested on him as MD, NDDC, especially as his appointment marks another progressive beginning in the history of Ogbia Kingdom.
