Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council Honours BYSHA Speaker Tonye Isenah

The leadership of Ogbia Brotherhood  Youth BrotherHood Youth Council has honoured the Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tonye Isenah with an Award as the most youth friendly legislator in Bayelsa state.

The group presented the award recently when they paid a courtesy call on the Bayelsa state House of Assembly Speaker to congratulate him on his emergence as the speaker of the Bayelsa 6th Assembly

Speaking at the courtesy call, the leadership of the group led by comrade Napuru Bassuo thanked the speaker for been a lover of the Ogbia people which according to them he has shown by appointng two vibrant Ogbia sons to serve as special advisers to him. They are Rev Ranami Afagha and comrade Efere Azibalua.

In his response, Speaker Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah thanked the youth council for finding him worthy of the award and encourage the youths to shun violence and preach peace among the Ogbia people.

He advised them not to give up on life stressing that any of them can make it in life if him Mr speaker could make it without been involved in criminal activities. He spoke about his life as a kid in his home town Odi, the struggles of life of a kid with no hope but perseverance kept him through and today he is who he is.
