Some of the challenges confronting the Ogbia kingdom and its Socio-Cultural Group called Ogbia Brotherhood has being brought to the fore.
Speaking recently when the leadership of the Ogbia Restoration Crusaders (ORC) Elders Caucus paid him a solidarity visit, the National chairman of the Ogbia brotherhood Benson Agadaga said the essence of the establishment of the BROTHERHOOD by our forefathers is almost defeated by internal controversies and total neglect of the ideals and values in which the Brotherhood was built upon.
While expressing dissatisfaction over the level of disunity and insecurity currently bedeviling the kingdom, the chairman said the Brotherhood stands for unity, peace and understanding, that the BROTHERHOOD was formed via divine inspiration purposed principally for the unification and peaceful coexistence of the kingdom; and that is why the logo of the Brotherhood is the Dove representing PEACE/UNITY.
He emphasized further that the Brotherhood which was founded in 1940 is older than the United Nations Organization; insisting further that the UNO is an emulation of the Ogbia Brotherhood as she shares same/similar aims and objectives.
