The Position of Ogbia Apex Students’ Body on the forthcoming Bayelsa Governorship election 2019

Ogbia Apex students’ body, the National Union of Ogbia Students worldwide AKA Ogbia Brotherhood student wing met on Saturday 31st August 2019 at Otuoke, President Goodluck Jonathan town and came up with the following resolutions as it concerns the forthcoming Bayelsa state governorship election 2019.

1. The body has resolved to hold  a Programme entitled “the sensitization of Ogbia students on the need for a violent free participation in the forthcoming gubernatorial polls” by October to sensitized youths the need for a violent free elections. 
2. The body also resolved that Ogbia students will only support an aspirants who will guarantee the student community, Bayelsans the underlisted schemes regardless of party affilation: 

• Poverty alleviation, 
• promotion and sustainance of quality education, 
• youth empowerment, 
• conducive environment for learning, 
• job creation, 
• industrialization amongst others, all geared towards sustainable development.
