FORUM OF ADVANCED COMRADES OF OGBIA CONSTITUENCY ONE (FACOCO) CALLS FOR THE IMMEDIATE REMEDIATION OF FAILED SECTIONS OF OGBIA-NEMBE ROAD DAMAGED BY FERMA IN THE GUISE OF MAINTENANCE

Forum of advanced comrades of Ogbia constituency one (FACOCO) has express deep concern on the poor state of Ogbia-Nembe road and call on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to take an urgent step to remedy the situation as the rainy season fast approaches.

 It will be recalled that a lawmaker from Ogbia constituency one took it upon himself to salvage the situation sometimes ago but his effort was thwarted by FERMA who excavated some parts of the road as part of their pre-maintenance processes, but to our greatest shock, the road was abandoned till date.

Members of the forum numbering over 200 youth leaders led by the Director General Comr Atoni Azibola who conducted a media tour in the failed areas condemned in totality the act of excavating the road without refilling but instead abandoning it thereby worsening the situation.

The group therefore resolved that if FERMA fails to obey it’s call, the group would have no option than to stage a protest at the FERMA office premises in other to send a signal to the federal government on their underperformance.
