Resolutions of Ogbia Clan Presidents’ Forum On The Zoning Formula For Ogbia Federal Constituency

Youths leaders across the three constituencies in Ogbia Local Government Area recently converged at De-Alammies Hotel Otuoke, Bayelsa State to discuss critical issues bothering the kingdom.

The meeting which was convened by the Comrade Azibatotor Tony Efere led Ogbia Clan President Forum had in attendance Comrade Daziba Apiri, immediate past president Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council, Comrade Ewa, the current vice president Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council, Comrade Kotor Olali, the current Secretary General Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council, various past and present ogbia clan chairmen and their excos, various past and present presidents and excos, various past and present community youths leaders and excos, critical stakeholders across the kingdom amongs others.

The leader’s discussed passionately about the peace, unity security and development of the kingdom.

At the end of the meeting the following resolutions were reached.

1.  That Ogbia Kingdom will not tolerate any form of criminality. Therefore criminal elements should stay clear from the kingdom as the people have resolved to work with the security agencies to reed the kingdom off criminal activities. The youths also declare zero tolerance to ghettos in Ogbia Kingdom.
2. That FERMA and the Multi-national oil companies operating in the kingdom should as a matter of urgency begin immediate rehabilitation of the Ogbia road while they plead with the State government to also intervene.
3. That the youths of the kingdom will not allow themselves to be used as political thugs, therefore politicians who are trying to cause havoc and division among the youths should desist forthwith.
4. That the zoning principle in Ogbia be respected and the Ogbia Constituency 3 people be allowed to produce the next House of Representatives Member as it is their turn to do so.
