As Gov Dickson continues to fulfill his political promises; will he also remember to balance the gross political inequality in Ogbia Local Government Area by giving Ogbia Ward 2 (Otuokpoti) (same with IMIRINGI) what is due them?

HSD assured the political leaders of that ward and the entire Constituency 2 that ‘ if reelected; the next Commissioner from Ogbia Constituency 2 will come from Ward 2’.

Was he reelected? Yes. Even as APC paid 10k per vote; He Dickson still won in all the 19 Units of the Ward. Has he kept the promise? CAPITAL NO. This is a litmus test for the Talk Na Do Governor. Or, aren’t qualified and loyal supporters of the Restoration government in that area? Is hon Evarada not from that area? Is he afraid to remind the governor so he will not be sacked? And, why are the people quiet over it. I’m truly concerned.

Gov Dickson during his 2015 reelection bid assured the people of Ogbia Ward 2 (Otuokpoti) that he will correct the age long injustice of political inequality by ensuring that the next political position for Ogbia Constituency 2 will be given to the Otuokpoti ward. The Governor assured that such brazen injustice will not be tolerated by him and his government.

The Governor’s popular position is yet to be enforced. If the Governor fails to correct this injustice; the people of the ward may resort to self-help and perhaps violence means to express their grievances and this may pose grave security threat to the state.

 But, isn’t this the right moment for the Governor to do justice? All well meaning Ogbia sons and daughters are of the view that for sake of peace and justice; Otuokpoti ward should be given a Commissionership position.

Will the Talk Na Do Governor keep to his promise by doing justice to the Peace loving and supportive people of Otuokpoti ward? It’s just a matter of days and his position will be made manifest.

This is the gross political inequality in Ogbia Constituency Two. The Constituency is made up of four wards. Wards 2, 3, 4 & 5. This is how political positions were spread from old Rivers State to the Present day Bayelsa.

Hon. Mrs. Sodaguo Omoni

House of Assembly 4:
Late Hon. Stanley Obi, Hon. Samuel Boy, Chief Hon. Robert A. Enogha (two tenures) and Dr. A. Awoli

Commissioners 3:
Chief Hon. Benson Agadaga, Chief Robert. A Enogha and Dr. A. Awoli

LGA Chairman 2:
Hon. Samuel Boy (elected) and Hon. Samuel Boy (appointed)

The womb of justice has been totally destroyed by the above ranking. The Restoration Government can correct this horrible political inequality. Except; the Otuokpoti ward isn’t part of the Ogbia Constituency 2.

My amiable Gov, please make you try keep to your promise naaa. Gov Dickson where is the talk Na do attribute in this matter?
