Ogbia Kingdom honours her Professors

No fewer than 13 sons and daughters from Ogbia Kingdom who have attained the highest rank in the University academic were recently honoured.

They were honoured at a grand reception organized by Hon. (Chief) Robert Ayalla Enogha Educational Foundation in their honour.

The event held at the Ayalla hotel was well attended by who-is-who in the Ogbia Kingdom as well Bayelsa as a whole.

Those who were honored were:

1. Prof. Edmond Allison Oguru, Professor of Agric-Busines Management & Production Economics as well as former Secretary to the State Government.
2. Prof. Oliver Ekpere Charles-Owaba, Professor of Industrial Engineering.
3. Prof. Bams Abila, Professor of Biologics & Advanced Therapy Drug Development.
4. Prof. Teddy Charles Adias, Professor of Haematology/Blood Transfusion Science & Vice Chancellor Federal University Otuoke.
5. Prof. Allen A. Agih, Professor of Educational Management & Planning as well as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassoma.
6. Prof. Kenneth S. Okiongbo, Professor of Applied Geophysics.
7. Prof. (Mrs) Oliemen Peterside (Nee Obhuo) Professor of Paedetrics & Child Health.
8. Prof. Jonah Akekere, Professor of Development Economics.
9. Prof. Stanley Oguon, Professor of Accounting.
10. Prof. Nanighe Baldwin Major, Professor of Educational Management.
11. Prof. Apuega Righteous Arikawei, Prof. Adult Education, Social Welfare & Community Development.
12. Prof. Micheal A. Okugbowa, Professor of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology.
