IYC Oloibiri Clan condemn herdsmen attack on two persons from Goodluck Jonathan’s community

Former Ijaw Youth Council Assistant Secretary General, Oloibiri Clan Comr. Imo Azibaolanami Sunday has condemned in strong terms the attack on two persons – a father and his son from former President Goodluck Jonathan’s Community of Otueke in Ogbia Local Government by people suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

“I consciously condemn the act of the Fulani Herdsmen on the Otuoke indigenous people which led to two Otuoke indigenes injured and currently been hospitalized. I am using this medium to urge the Honourable Assemble Member Representing Ogbia constituency one (1), the amiable country man Ogbia Local Government Chairman, the entire leadership of Otuoke structure, the IYC Oloibiri Clan to swing into action to ensure such action is not repeated, as further attack from the Fulani Herdsmen on Otuoke or Ogbia Citizenry will not be acceptable and will lead to conflict that will bring unstable environment that might hinder peace and harmony within Otuoke, Ogbia out Constituency one (1) and Ogbia LGA at large.

We are known for peace loving people who welcome strangers In our land for their business activities. However, this should not be taken for granted because every human have that animal nature of being brutal and nasty.

What ever that’s is worth doing is worth doing well.. to give peace a chance there must be actors and that responsibility rest in the shoulders of the leadership of Ogbia Kingdom.”
