Ogbia Federal Lawmaker Blasts NCDMB Over Elebele Bridge Collapse

The Lawmaker representing Ogbia Federal constituency at the Federal House of representative Hon. Azibapu Fred Obua has frowned over the attitude displayed by the local content board which truck was convening chippings to its site collapsed the bridge and the neglect by Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC to the people.

It was reported that weeks after the collapse of the bridge, there had not been a visit from either the officials of Local Content Board nor SPDC, to ascertain the level of damage that took place and proffer solution on how to remedy the situation to ensure that incident like this do not reoccur.

Obua who joined the Chiefs and people of the Ogbia Local Government on an inspection tour of the level of damage done to the collapse bridge in Elebele community linking Ogbia, Nembe and Brass LGA’s of the state promised to convey the message of the people to the floor of the house and let the federal government know their yearnings
