2019 Isaac Adaka Boro Day Celebration: See Programme Of Activities

The 2019 Isaac Boro Day Celebration Commitee has released the programme of activities for the 2019 Isaac Boro Day commemoration.

Day 1 : Tuesday 14th May 2019

First session:

Road walk against cultism, drug abuse, and other social vices

Second Session:

Lecture on the topic: The Ijaw nation, yesterday, today and tomorrow the loses and gains and the need to build a prosperous future

Venue: Ijaw House, Sani Abacha Expressway. Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Day 2 : Wednesday 15th May 2019

First session:

Visit to orphanages, hospitals and prisons and presentation of gift items, toiletries and food stuffs etc.

Second session:

Inter-zonal wrestling competition

Day 3: Thursday 16th May 2019

• Visit to major Isaac Boro ancestral home at Kaima. 
• Special visit to captain Samuel Owonaro Isaac Boro’s second-in-command and chief  (elder) Timi Kaiser-Wilhelm Ogoriba progenitor of IYC.
