OPINION: Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council And The Need For An Experienced Representative

Indeed, the “wing” now council, has suffered many misgivings due to reasons I may honourably want to skip, including ungodly sentiments, pride, and envy.

Beyond our petty sentiments and pride lies the unity and way forward of the youths in our great kingdom, and this in reality has no affiliation with APC, PDP, ADC or whatsoever you may want to name it.

The involvement and royal decision of His Eminence, Only made matters way better from every indication, so far we now have clear and uncontroversial comprehension on where the next president of this esteemed body shall be resuming from (OBHAN-EMEYAL).

Bearing in mind the task in wait of the incoming president which includes sanitizing the youths off petty sentiments, enabling security across all constituent borders, walking with companies and higher institutions within and without the kingdom to enable employment, train and empower youths in various skills, fight external enemies who’s joy is to see that our kingdom is bedridden, and many other things as provided in the constitution.

It is therefore on this premises I wish to crave the indulgence of well meaning Ogbia youths to seek for an experienced, vibrant, social, humble, outspoken and a modern day leader who’s heart is for the people, if this is true as it is, then I find Otobo Victor the man who the cap fits, the right man for the job.

His achievements as the pioneer youth president of Emeyal clan already tells his tale, some of his testaments includes:

1. Engaging the youths of Emeyal clan in a security summit that brought about the peace we yet experience in the clan.
2. Liasing with companies for the maintainance of Elebele and Emeyal road in 2013
3. Employment of over ten persons into FUO
4. Training and empowering youths in various skill programs
5. Setting up An ELECO four months to the expiration of his tenure.
6. Peaceful transition of power to his successors. Etc

I want to call on Otobo Victor to rise up and take up the challenge, I also call on those who have trust in the unity of of Ogbia to join me as this may be the golden chance to make things right.
