A student at the Bayelsa State College of Health Technology Otuogidi, Ogbia town have advocated for upgrading of the degree awarded in some departments of the institution.
The student made the call during an Ogbia radio programme on Rythmn 94.7 monitored by our team recently.
Accordingly to the student, the institution should atleast upgrade to a Higher National Diploma (HND) awarding institution noting the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) currently being awarded by the institution is outdated and doesn’t guarantee one a direct entry into any university.
