Sons and Daughters of Okodi community in Ogbia Local Government resident in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital have elected a new Executives to oversee it’s affairs in the diaspora.
This was done on Sunday 7th November, 2021 at Kclamola Hotels, Yenagoa.
Those elected include are:
- Mr Natein Opuene as Chairman.
- CSP Nyeanami Odual as Vice Chairman.
- Dr Nizoloman Odual as General Secretary.
- Dr Victory Collins Owede as Assistant Secretary.
- Rev (Dr) Anyama Pog-Osia as Financial Secretary.
- Mr GIbson Gbalimori as PRO and Legal Adviser.
- Hon Ariwalabh Agbadi as Assistant PRO.
- Rachael Inengite as Women Leader.
- Hon Etoza Owede as Treasurer.
The forum also constituted Elders Council with HRM King Omie Theophilus as Chairman while Dr Kosioma Owede is to serve as Secretary.
Other members of the Council include HRH King Elkanah Oweifah, Paramount Ruler, Chief (Hon) O.M.E Opuene (Jnr), Hon Graham Ipigansi, Sir Victor Inanuma, Mr Frank Inanuma and others.
The meeting presided by Hon Ipigansi and attended by a Kaleidoscope of Okodi prominent Sons marked a turning point and a historic climax to a new beginning.
